Worship is much more than the songs we sing, the prayers we pray, the sacraments we observe, and the obedience we offer on Sunday.  It’s a lifestyle that responds to God.

The traditional worship service at Petal United Methodist Church offers powerful messages and a formal order of worship, rich in tradition and liturgy.  A variety of classic hymns and more contemporary music is sung by the congregation and performed by the chancel choir.

The traditional worship service is more than an experience.  We don’t gather for information but transformation.  We gather to be changed.

The Service of Holy Communion is celebrated in this service on the first Sunday of each month.

Traditional Worship begins at 9:00 AM and is held in the main sanctuary.
